What ZEME is, and the one rule

ZEME-100Lesson 1 of 66 min readEnglishFree

Welcome. This lesson explains what ZEME is, and the one rule that governs everything else here.

ZEME AI is an analytics platform for the Pakistan Stock Exchange. It reads the daily tape, price, volume, circuit locks, and who is accumulating, and turns it into measured statements about what usually happens next.

The word doing the work in that sentence is measured.

The one rule

Every number ZEME publishes must come with its sample size, and every weakness must be published beside its strength.

This sounds like a small commitment. It is not. It is why our Academy contains a course called What Does NOT Work listing 153 approaches we built, tested and threw away, and another called Where ZEME is weak built entirely from places our own engine measures badly.

Nobody publishes their failures. We do, because a hit rate without its misses is not information, it is advertising.

What this means when you read a page

Anywhere on this site you will see a claim like "33.6% touched +20%". Next to it you will always find two more things: how many cases that was measured on, and which years. If you ever find a number on ZEME without those, it is a bug, and it is worth telling us about.

The three things ZEME is not

  1. Not investment advice. ZEME is an educational analytics platform. It does not know your capital, your timeframe, or your risk tolerance, and it is not a licensed advisor.
  2. Not a prediction engine. Every figure here is a base rate, what happened in similar past situations. A 48% hit rate means slightly under half worked, which also means slightly over half did not.
  3. Not a replacement for your own judgement. It is a way to check your judgement against 10.6 years of what actually happened.

The shape of this course

The next five lessons define every term you will meet: the 9 Campaign Phases, the scores, the engines, and, the one most people find most useful, the list of impressive-sounding terms we deliberately do not publish, and why.

Do this now, practical activity

  1. Open the Track Record page.
  2. Find any number on it. Now find its sample size. It will be there.
  3. Scroll to the section headed "The result most services would not print" and read it.
What you are checking: whether we actually do the thing this lesson just claimed. Do not take it on trust, that is the entire point.

Measured: ZEME's Academy currently publishes 153 rejected approaches, each killed by a specific measurement, and a 7-lesson course built from our own engine's weakest results.
