The words we refuse to print, and why

ZEME-100Lesson 5 of 68 min readEnglishFree

This is the lesson no other platform in this market will publish.

Below are terms that appeared on ZEME's own branding list, terms we could have printed on the site tomorrow, and the reason each one is blocked.

TermWhy we do not publish it
Macro Risk™There is no macro data in the system. No interest rates, no inflation, no KIBOR, no FX. Verified and re-verified.
Investor DNA™No per-user behavioural profiling exists.
Portfolio Health™Our portfolio tracker is thin; no health metric is computed.
Recovery Score™Nothing computes it.
Alpha Engine™No such engine, and our own 4-year backtest found picks trailed the index in 5 of 6 cells.
Opportunity Score™A duplicate of the Decision Score. Two names for one number is how a vocabulary rots.
Money Flow Radar™The columns behind it are 0.0 on all 394 rows. Dead.

The rule behind the table

A term may only ship if a real, computed capability sits behind it.

Naming something we do not compute is the fastest possible way to lose the word this whole business rests on: trusted.

The one that stings

Institutional Interest™ and Retail Pressure™ are built on foreign/local investor flow data. Those terms are in our "approved" list. But when we actually audited the underlying table in August 2026 we found 4,240 rows with a maximum absolute value of 1.66, numerically dead, and the Refinery sector did not exist in its taxonomy at all.

So they are named, approved, and not currently live. You will not see them driving a ZEME number until that feed is fixed, and this lesson exists so you know why.

What to do with this when you read anyone else's platform

Ask one question of any impressive term you meet anywhere: what computes it?

If the answer is a data feed, ask when it was last verified to contain real values. We found one of ours had been silently dead, and we only found it because we went looking. A number that is fresh but empty looks exactly like a number that is working.

Do this now, practical activity

  1. Pick any three pieces of market jargon you have seen recently, anywhere.
  2. For each, write down what data would have to exist for it to be computable.
  3. Then check whether that data is publicly available for PSX at all.
What you will usually find: the impressive-sounding term needs data nobody in this market actually has. That is not always dishonesty, often the term was inherited from a market that does have the data. But it is your money, and "it sounds rigorous" is not a data source.

Measured: 7 branded terms are currently blocked from publication at ZEME for lack of a computing capability, including two whose source table was audited at 4,240 rows with a maximum absolute value of 1.66, numerically dead.
